The Teddy Bear Picnic was held at the site of the Laurels at Landhope CDE. There are several impressive permanent hazards including a water hazard with a large arched bridge. Just to be able to drive on the grounds where so many top drivers compete is exciting. There were 60 entries in all but only five were VSEs.
Suzanne Langenwalter drove My Man Munch to first place in the VSE Training Division and Rita Michalenko driving Mr. Widget was second. Angel Jamison drove Echo Falls Rhett's Kidlet in the VSE Training Combined Test. Linda Willis driving Commander and Gwen scored one of the lowest dressage tests ever to win first in the VSE Preliminary Division. Jaye Ventresca with Echo Falls Rhett's Socks and Kamelot's Remington Steel caught up in the marathon phase but stayed in second place.
